1. First special train arranged by the Telangana government from Lingampally (Hyderabad) to Hatia (Jharkhand).
2. International Jazz Day was observed on 30 April. Its main motive was to create  awareness of virtues of jazz as a force of peace, unity, dialogue and cooperation among people. 30th April was adopted as International Jazz Day in 2011 by UNESCO.
3. Shikha Sharma has been appointed as Advisor of Google Pay.
4. Ajay Tirkey has been appointed as secretary of Ministry of Women and Child Development (WCD).
5. Karnataka Vikas Grameen Bank (KVG) has launched ‘Vikas Abhaya’.Basically, It is a loan scheme. This scheme is for those borrowers whose business disrupted due to COVID-19.
6. Black rice of Manipur (Chak Hao) received GI Tag.
7. Delhi Police and All India Institute of Ayurveda jointly launched an initiative “Ayuraksha- Corona se jung, Delhi Police ke sang” in Delhi.
