Lets know about Cholera and all about it

             Hello friends today I will explain about Cholera disease. It is a very dangerous and infectious disease causes severe diarrhea. Because of watery diarrhea , there is a situation created known as Dehydration and even lead to death. It is basically caused by a bacterium known as Vibrio Cholera. It is usually found in contaminated food or water. Friends I will tell you about this Vibrio Cholera bectrium in this article. Cholera bectrium is gram-negative, comma shaped bacteria which mostly founded in brackish water and saltwater. Brackish water has more salinity than fresh water. Salinity in brackish water varies between 0.5 to 30 parts per 1000.
           They (gram negative bacterium) spread across the world where life exists. In the gram negative bacteria inner cell membrane present also known as cytoplasmic. They have also a thin peptidoglycan layer. They have also outer membrane containing lipopolysccharides ( consists of lipid A, core polysaccharide and O antigen).
           Moving to the main topic Cholera it is caused by mainly Vibrio Cholera which was firstly isolated in 1854 by Italian anatomist Filippo Pacini. Filippo Pacini was born in 1812 in Pistoia to a humble family. In 1831, He discovered small sensory organs in the nervous system which could detect pressure and vibrations. He has also published several studies on the retina of the human eye, the electric organs in electric fishes, the structure of bone, and the mechanics of respiration during his tenure. He was died in 1883 at the age of 71.
As per some reliable resources, cholera was prevalent in United States of America in 1800. And every year 10 cases come from there. As per the sources 150,000 cases are reported to the world Health Organization each year across the world.

How Vibrio Cholera bacterium works?

             During infection, Vibrio Cholera bacterium secretes cholera toxin. It is a type of protein that cause watery diarrhea.

Signs of Cholera

1) It can begin as soon as hours or long as few days (4-5 days) after victimized.
2) Initially these symptoms are milt but with time they are very serious.
3) Thirst started.
4) Heart rate increased leading to the sign of dehydration.
5) Mucus membrane gets dried including mouth, throat, eyelid etc.
6) Muscles started cramped.
Ultimately if dehydration not treated in time, it can lead to death within hours.

Now Lets Know About Preventive measures For It

1) Drink and use only bottle water
2) Wash your hands with soap.
3) Take well Cooke food thoroughly
