Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Engineer Recruitment 2017: 

( Examination Notice No. 01/2018‐ENGG.)

UPSC has released recruitment notification for engineering posts for various departments. Eligible candidates can check the following detail:  

Total Vacancies: 558  

Last Date for Submission of Application online: 23.10.2017 till 6:00pm.

Candidates are required to apply Online only by using the website www.upsconline.nic.in.  

Exam Pattern: Exam will be in three stages:

Stage 1: Pre

Stage 2: Main

Stage 3: Personality Test

 

Recruitment on the results of this examination will be made to the Services/ Posts under the following categories:‐

• Category I‐Civil Engineering.
• Category II‐Mechanical Engineering.
• Category III‐Electrical Engineering.
• Category IV‐Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering.

Educational Qualification: Candidates must be obtained a degree in Engineering from a University incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India.

• For Indian Naval Armament Service (Electronics Engg. Posts) ‐ M.Sc. degree or its equivalent with Wireless Communication Electronics, Radio Physics or Radio Engineering as a special subject.
• For Indian Radio Regulatory Service – M.Sc. degree or its equivalent with Wireless Communication Electronics, Radio Physics or Radio Engineering as a special subject or Master’s Degree in Science with Physics and Radio Communication or Electronics or Telecommunication as a special subject.

Age Limit :

Minimum : 21 Years

Maximum : 30 Years.
